<h4>Ingredients</h4>
<ul>
<li class="clear">1 entire chicken (about 1,5 kilograms)</li>
<li>2 garlic cloves</li>
<li>2 medium onions</li>
<li>400g peeled tomatoes</li>
<li>1 tablespoon  finely cut parsley</li>
<li>50g butter</li>
<li>2 shots of cognac</li>
<li>2 cloves</li>
<li>Salt – pepper</li>
<li>One pinch of Krokos Kozanis (saffron) in powder</li>

<h4>Instructions</h4>
<p>Cut the chicken in 4 servings, place it in a deep pan with a lid, adding the garlic, finely cut the onions and a ½  cup of water. Cover and let it simmer for about 1/2 hour. Remove the lid, add the  tomatoes finely cut, the garlic, salt-pepper, basil leaves,  cloves and butter. Let it all simmer for another ½ hour. Fifteen minutes before remove the pan off the heat, add the cognac and the Krokos Kozanis (saffron) and cover the pan until the chicken is tender. Serve in a platter with its own sauce.</p>
